Some more willingness…

Since the last few months that I have been travelling in and out of my country, I am realising how fear-based our interactions have become. So much resistance to participate in our own lives fully!

Extending the previous article I wrote about how willing we can be in our own lives, it serves to ask ourselves this question too of how willing we are to participate in the lives around us…

In  “Don’t talk to Strangers!” – Really? by Sangeeta, a much-loved author and EFT practitioner, she shares her story of how she overcame her resistance to be “inclusive” as  she was travelling, without being gullible.

I was myself reminded of so many strangers with whom I’ve shared some delightful moments in the course of my travels – like the photographer, his lively wife and a notoriously charming little daughter I met a few months back on my way to Goa in a bus, like the US-naturalized, Peruvian man I befriended in my cruise through the Norwegian fjords who worked for the railways in France, like the lady who pushed the pram guiding me all the way to my apartment in Bergen, who shared her love for Indian chai and who, in response to my gratitude, exclaimed that this was nothing for a person who had come all the way from India to work here, like the bassist I met while I was alone at a rock concert, like the lady who offered to share the rickshaw with me who had been looking for a past life regression therapist! 🙂

What if the winds needed no room for caution? Wouldn’t it be a wonder-game for connections unravelling all over the world?
